Our friend, rest in peace dear Gwen

Today the dog world lost a legend, mentor and friend, Gwen DeMilta. Gwen and her daughter are a huge part of Hideaway Acres. Gwen helped me achieve my dreams, not once, but twice and taught me life lessons that I will always be grateful for. She understood me in ways I did not understand myself. There are not enough words to describe Gwen's impact in the dog community and the hearts of many.

We pause puppy news today to honor our friend Gwen with a prayer and thoughts for her daughter Carissa and family.

We love you Gwenie, the rainbow bridge is a much richer place today.
